The relationship between a therapist and their client is essential to breaking the cycle and encouraging change when it comes to psychotherapy. It is vital that you feel at ease with your therapist.
I’m an approachable and engaging clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience. I have worked in a range of settings including outpatient hospital treatment, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, non-government organisations in mental health, sexual health clinic and various private practices throughout Sydney.
I specialise in the provision of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) , Interpersonal Therapy (IPT). I also incorporate attachment theory, systemic family therapy and psychodynamic models in my clinical work.
My sessions are pragmatic, warm and always focused on looking at the present and the future, even when working through events from the past. We will work together to set therapeutic goals, before collaborating on ways to achieve them.
